I Have Found the Perfect Condo
My main consideration when I started looking at new condo developments was the condo itself. I have been to a few new condos where the development was more focused on the shared community amenities rather than the condos. I know it is important to have a nice swimming pool and a gym that is extremely modern, along with so many other features that will draw people to the development, but that cannot happen at the expense of the actual condos. When I looked at https://www.foretec.com/parc-esta-condo-redefining-luxurious-living-in-singapore, I was happy to see that this definitely did not happen with this one.
I did look at the shared amenities first, but that was just so I could get it out of the way. Most of these developments do have the swimming pools, the gyms, the lounges, and other things. I was pleased with everything I saw, but was concerned that these features were so nice that there might not have been much left over for the condos. I am so glad that I was wrong on this. There are nearly 1400 condos. Read the rest of this entry »
The Amenities Can’t Be Beat at Our Cedars at Edina Apartment
We got a little carried away dreaming of what we wanted in our next apartment. We got through the standard things pretty fast. We wanted big walk-in closets, stainless steel appliances and for it to be pet-friendly. Then we started adding things we thought were goofy such as heated garages, indoor swimming pools and hot tubs and even underground tunnels to get to apartment complex facilities. Imagine our surprise when we found apartments near Edina MN that offer all that and more.
My wife called me into our home office one day and asked me if I remember the silly things we put on our apartment list such as heated parking. I told her I remembered, and I was shocked to find out that there is actually an apartment complex that offers underground heated parking for residents. No more freezing cars in the winter with snow and ice piled on top of them. She told me they have an indoor heated pool and spa as well as a sauna too. Now she was talking my language. We All Moved to Charlotte Together
When my husband’s mother decided to move to Charlotte with us, we all knew that it would be better to just look for a two bedroom apartment that was large enough that we would not get on each other’s nerves. I knew that we would be able to find a nicer place since we were sharing the costs, but I honestly did not expect to find something as nice as CityPark View South. My mother in law is the one who found it, and it has turned out to be the perfect answer for all of us.
The reason she wanted to move with us is because my husband was getting transferred to Charlotte from our hometown of Hartford. If we were only moving an hour away, she would have stayed in Hartford. However, it would take a plane ride for her to come and see us or for us to go and visit her. She has a few good friends in the city, but they were not worth her losing daily contact with the only two family members she has. Read the rest of this entry »
Being the First Tenant in a New Apartment is the Best
Have you ever had to move because of a tree? Well, a giant tree pretty much obliterated part of the house we were renting. We needed an excuse to move, and this was a get-out-of-the-lease-early card we had to play. Renter’s insurance covered losses, and no one was injured. We looked for Manassas apartments to move a little closer to where we worked. We just needed easy access without driving to a VRE station. This way we could hop a train to work every morning without having to even get in our car. Before, we would drive to a train station and then go into DC. Then there was the ride back to our car then home. We worked the same hours, so it was easy to coordinate our commute together. Read the rest of this entry »
Teaming Up for a Residence
At the end of the last semester, a classmate asked me where I was going to live next semester, and I told him that I would probably find some place on campus. He told me that he wanted to get an apartment, but didn’t have anyone to room with that could split the cost, and asked me if I wanted to room with him. Since the cost of an apartment divided by two people would be less than campus housing, I said yes. He already had some ideas about which of the apartments in Brandon he wanted to live in during the semester.
My classmate knew a lot more about the apartments that were for rent in Brandon, so we went over the ones that he had already picked and chose one that was suitable for the both of us. While were not going to school in Brandon, I live in Tennessee, and my classmate lives in California. Read the rest of this entry »
